Barker Physiotherapists is one of the few physio practices that still treat people who have been injured on duty.
Many medical professionals no longer accept patients whose treatment is paid for by the Compensation Commissioner because of the large amount of paperwork involved. However, the administrative staff at Barker Physiotherapists are highly skilled and experienced in helping patients with workplace injuries get all the paperwork in place so they can receive the treatment they need.
If you have been injured at work and plan to come to us for treatment, we would like to make your first Physiotherapy session as smooth as possible.

Here is what you can do to make this process simple and successful:
Arrive at the Physiotherapy reception 15 minutes prior to your appointment time
Bring ALL the following documents with you:
Certified ID
Report of accident
First medical report
Employment confirmation letter
All progress reports
Referral letter within 5 days of the referral date
If you are injured at work as a result of an assault, or while travelling, then please ALSO BRING:
When an assault case: Assault report
When a car accident case: Travel report
As always, we are available to help you make choices that will work to get you in control of your health. Make an appointment to see one of our physiotherapists to discuss any of your health concerns.
